Psychology behind fears & anxiety. And how to deal with emotional overwhelm
Fear of flying rarely comes from not knowing statistics. More commonly, it comes from a generally anxious mindset, trust issues, and a hypervigilant, overly protective nervous system.

WHY THIS PROJECT EXISTS
At No Fear Up Here, we believe in the power of knowledge, science, and deep understanding. We believe that fear of flying is rarely solved by generic reassurance or surface-level advice.
Most anxious flyers already know that “flying is the safest form of transportation.” and how to breathe properly. But when pre-flight anxiety hits, generic facts alone often do not calm an overwhelmed nervous system. Being told to “just relax it's very safe” can feel dismissive rather than helpful.
No Fear Up Here was created to bridge the gap between aviation and the general public. To give people more than simplified answers and empty reassurance. Through aviation knowledge, psychology, and honest conversations about fear and anxiety, we aim to create a supportive and validating community for those who want deeper understanding — both of flying itself and of their own reactions to it.
